Vision

 We believe that one passionate teacher can influence the next generation. One great teacher can foster a positive learning environment that encourages the next generation to learn, explore, dream, and lift one another up along the way. 

Education is the foundation of a society and the long term solution to many of the problems we face today. Several teachers in Ghana do not have access to a University Teacher Education Program. Our goal is to give teachers access to professional teacher training, enabling them to create positive learning environments for students across Ghana.

 

Just as Jesus spent time building relationships with his disciples, we believe that relationship is the cornerstone of a great education. We believe that a child's academic success does not only rely on access to resources and cutting edge curriculum, but on the environment in which he/she is learning. If the student is in an environment where they are loved, encouraged, challenged, and welcomed by their teacher and peers they will succeed. 

Our goal is to help equip teachers to foster this learning environment for the future generation. Relationships are hard work. They are not short-term. Creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow takes time. Many teacher training/professional development programs do not include building relationships. Every teacher, every student, every class is unique. We believe that the best way to help teachers is to listen to them, learn from them, and work alongside them to help them foster this positive learning environment for their students. 

 OneSeed is committed to helping schools develop relationships with their Sister Schools across the globe. We believe that globally minded education will prepare our future generation to work alongside one another, from all corners of the globe, to prepare them to become global citizens. 

 We pray that students on both sides of the world will listen and learn from people who are different from them, enabling them to become advocates for human rights, peacemaking, and equality. Students will learn that no matter how young they are, or where they are from, they can make a difference.
